UNIVERSITY ADVISORY | RE: IMPACT OF RISING TEMPERATURE

Please be guided on the following interim adjustments to the delivery modality to ease the impact of the rising temperature:

1. Higher Education Professors with class schedules from 1 pm to 5 pm are given the discretion to switch to an online modality if their designated classrooms are not air-conditioned, starting on April 19, 2024, until the end of the month.

2. The SHS department shall follow the approved alternative delivery of modality and is advised to coordinate with the Office of the SHS Principal for any inquiries.

3. The Elementary and JHS departments shall continue to observe the regular learning modality.

4. Uniform Policy is suspended. Students can wear their most comfortable and decent clothing, but IDs are still required to be worn all the time upon entry and while on campus.

5. The University shall identify lounge areas and provide water dispensers in strategic areas of the campus to keep the students hydrated all the time.

These adjustments are effective upon issuance of this advisory until lifted, following the Office of the President Memorandum no. 18, s. 2024 signed by our University President, Dr. Fay Lea Patria M. Lauraya.
