Everyone makes it!

Everybody Shares Project is the University’s Scholarship Acquisition Initiative to expand the financial assistance platforms available to students. It is a program that will augment the existing governmental and institutional scholarships and financial assistance programs of the University.

Everybody Shares Project is our avenue to achieve our goal, ‘Everyone Makes It”.

Available Scholarships

Elementary Department Scholarships

1. ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT SCHOLARSHIP – Scholarship to the rank 1 and rank 2 of the grade levels (Grade 2 to Grade 6) for one school year. The basis of ranking is the previous grade level average. The Elementary School Principal submits the list of qualified grantees to the Scholarships and Grants Office.

2. DRUM, XYLOPHONE, MAJORETTE CORPS (DXMC) – 20% tuition discount is given to qualified members of the DXMC. Maintenance of the grant is evaluated by the coordinator of DXMC and the Principal. Open to Grades 3, 4, 5, and 6 levels willing to be trained and provide his / her own uniform. The DXMC Coordinator submits the list of qualified grantees endorsed by the Principal to the Scholarships and Grants Office.

Senior High School Scholarships

1. ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIP – UNC awards scholarships to the Ranks 1and 2 of the Grade 10 graduating batch for one school year. In order to qualify, the student should come from a school with at least 50 Grade 10 graduates.

  • Photocopy of Form 138
  • Copy of the Moving-Up Ceremony Program or Invitation

2. PRESIDENT JAIME HERNANDEZ SCHOLARSHIP: Senior High School – 100% tuition fee scholarship to 10 incoming Grade 11 students who passed the scholarship screening process conducted by the University.

3. ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT SCHOLARSHIP – scholarship awarded Grade 12 academic achievers of the different strands. The basis of ranking is the grade average of the previous school year (Grade 11). The Senior High School Department submits the list of qualified students to SGO.

4. BAND MEMBERS – 100% tuition fee scholarship to qualified members who passed the screening process / apprenticeship program given by the Band Master. Interested applicants may report to Mr. Reymart Marticio, the Band Master or call 471-6100 local 167

5. VARSITY – 50% to Full scholarship given to qualified athletes who passed the screening process given by the Sports Development Office. Interested applicants may report to Mr. Roel Rosales, the Director of Sports Development Office or call 472-6100 local 153.

 

Graduate Studies & Law

GRADUATE SCHOOL

1. ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIP – 100% tuition fee scholarship to incoming freshmen students who graduated with academic distinction (cum laude, magna cum laude or summa cum laude) for one semester. Photocopy of the Transcript of Record is required for application.

2. DISCOUNT FOR DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION – Tuition discount given every applied for every semester. Latest Service Record from the Department of Education is required for application.

SCHOOL OF LAW

1. ANTONIO MORAN SISON (AMS) SCHOLARSHIP – 100% tuition scholarship awarded to a qualified applicant who passed the screening process given by the University. Applicants may report to the Scholarships and Grants Office or call 472-6100 local 179.

  • Application Letter
  • Curriculum Vitae of the applicant
  • Photocopy of the Transcript of Records
  • Certificate of good moral character from the pre-law degree school

Junior High School Scholarships

1. ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIP – UNC awards scholarships to the Ranks 1 to 7 of the Grade 6 graduating batch for one school year. In order to qualify, the student should come from an elementary school with at least 40 Grade 6 graduates.

3. DRUM AND LYRE and MAJORETTE CORPS (DLMC) – 50% tuition fee scholarship to members of DLMC renewable every school year. Qualified members are screened and endorsed by the Junior High School Department.

4. VARSITY – Scholarship to qualified athletes who passed the screening process given by the Sports Development Office.

College Scholarships

1. ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIPS – One semester scholarship to academic achievers of a Senior High School duly recognized by the Department of Education with at least 50 Grade 12 graduates.

2. PRESIDENT JAIME HERNANDEZ SCHOLARSHIP (PJHS) – 100% tuition fee scholarship to twenty (20) incoming freshmen students who obtained high scores in the scholarship screening process conducted by the University. A general weighted average (GWA) of 1.40 and above is required to maintain the scholarship grant.

3. ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT SCHOLARSHIP – Students with excellent performance in their academic work may qualify for academic scholarship every semester. This is awarded to students who obtained the following General Weighted Average (GWA) in the previous semester. The grade in Social Arts subject is not included in the computation of the GWA.

4. BAND SCHOLARSHIP – 100% tuition fee scholarship to qualified members of the Marching Band who passed the screening process conducted by the Band Master. Interested applicants may report to Mr. Reymart Marticio, the Band Master or call 472-6100 local 167.

5. BEAT AND PEP SQUADS – 25% to 50% tuition fee scholarship to the members of the Beat and Pep Squads. Qualified members are endorsed by the Sports Development Office. Interested applicants may report to Mr. Roel Rosales, the Director of Sports Development Office or call 472-6100 local 153.

6. GLEE CLUB – 100% tuition fee scholarship to members of the Glee Club. Qualified members are auditioned and endorsed by the Choir Master. Interested applicants may report to Mr. Joseph Condeno. Contact No.: 472-6100 local 179.

7. MAJORETTE CORPS – 100% tuition fee scholarship to qualified members of the Majorette Corps. Qualified majorettes are screened and endorsed by the Majorette Coordinator, Ms. Janet Aquino. Contact no.: 472-6100 local 153.

8. STUDENT ASSISTANTS PROGRAM – 100% tuition fee grant to financially strapped but deserving students who render duty in the different workstations in the University. Interested applicants may report to the Scholarships and Grants Office or call 472-6100 local 179.

9. VARSITY SCHOLARSHIP – 50% tuition scholarship to full scholarship (100% tuition fee, laboratory and miscellaneous fees with sports uniform) to varsity members. Qualified varsity scholars are screened and endorsed by the Sports Development Office. Interested applicants may report to Mr. Roel Rosales, the Sports Development Office Director or call 472-6100 local 153.

Discounts

1. CASH PAYMENT – 10% tuition fee outright discount for cash payment upon enrolment. For those with 10% discount (DepEd, Alumni, Loyalty, MOSF), an additional 5% discount upon payment of the full assessment during enrollment will be given.

2. MEMBERS OF THE SAME FAMILY (MOSF) – 10% tuition fee discount for two children of the same family. For three children – 50% tuition fee discount to the child with the lowest assessment. For four children – 50% tuition fee discount for the two children with the lowest assessments.
MOSF shall mean children and legally adopted children of the same parent/s.

Documentary Requirement: Photocopy of Birth Certificates

3. ALUMNI DISCOUNT – For children of Alumni Members, 10% tuition fee discount for one school year for Basic Education Department and one semester for College Department.

4. LOYALTY DISCOUNT – 10% tuition discount given to a graduate of Grade 6, Grade 10, Grade 12 and College upon enrolment the following semester or school year. This is given once only.

5. EMPLOYEE BENEFIT – tuition discount is given to regular employees and their children.

Educational Loans

1. PGMA-HELP – Higher Education Loan Program for financially needy students who are in their 3rd, 4th, 5th or graduating year of study.

2. SAFE – Student Assistance Fund for Education open to 3rd, 4th, 5th or graduating students. Intended to those students enrolled in CHED priority courses. Amount = P8,000.00

3. SAFE 4SR – Student Assistance Fund for Education open to 3rd, 4th, 5th or graduating students. Intended to those students without any scholarship or grant. Amount = P8,000.00

4. BRIDGE LOAN – The program is for financially needy students recommended by the Dean of the College. Amount: P5,000.00

Commission on Higher Education Region V

The Commission on Higher Education is the governing body covering both public and private higher education institutions as well as degree-granting programs in all tertiary educational institutions in the Philippines. The CHED was established on May 18, 1994, through the Republic Act 7722 or the Higher Education Act of 1994.

Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC) - FAPE

The Fund for Assistance to Private Education was a part of the Special Fund for Education set aside by the American government in 1963 from the surplus funds authorized by the War Damage Act of 1962. The latter, in turn, was actually a supplement to the Philippine Rehabilitation Act of 1946, which authorized the payment of private claims to damages sustained during the Second World War.
