The signing of the Memorandum of Agreement between the University of Nueva Caceres, together with other members of the Bicol Local Government Regional Resource Center–Multi-Stakeholders Advisory Council (LGRRC–MSSAC), and the Department of the Interior and Local Government Region V (DILG R5) was held last November 14, 2025 at The Oriental Hotel, Legazpi City.
This MOA signing marks the University of Nueva Caceres' renewed commitment to advancing knowledge sharing, collaboration, and innovation in local governance. The University reaffirms its commitment to providing knowledge resources and expertise that will help strengthen local governance efforts in collaboration with DILG R5 LGRRC, and to making these resources accessible to local governments and other potential users. Furthermore, the University continues to champion a culture of learning and knowledge sharing across communities.
Dir. Eleanor S. Peña, Director of the UNC Center for Adult and Lifelong Learning (CALL), represented the University President, Dr. Fay Lea Patria M. Lauraya, during this momentous event.
