At the University of Nueva Caceres, we take pride in being the first and only university in Bicol to establish a dedicated University Parents Engagement Center (UPEC). We firmly believe that parents play an indispensable role in shaping the educational experiences of our students. The creation of UPEC underscores our commitment to fostering a holistic academic environment, where parents are valued as essential partners in the success and growth of their children.
Services & Programs
1.) Parents Academy
At UPEC, we empower parents through a wide array of educational initiatives under our Parents Academy. We offer specialized training, seminars, and symposiums aimed at enhancing the knowledge and skills of parents in supporting their children’s educational journey. Through these enriching activities, parents are equipped with modern tools and insights, ensuring they can actively contribute to the academic and personal development of their children.
2.) Parents Avenue for Issues-clarifications/concerns/feedback
The Center for Parents is a welcoming and safe space where parents can voice their thoughts, concerns, and suggestions. We understand that every parent’s experience is unique, and we provide a platform for open dialogue, helping to address issues or challenges they might encounter. Whether it is providing feedback or seeking support, this center ensures parents are heard, valued, and understood.
3.) Celebration
At UPEC, we believe in honoring the unwavering dedication of parents. Through events such as Parents Appreciation Day, we celebrate the efforts, sacrifices, and resilience of parents who stand by their children throughout their academic journey. These celebrations are a testament to our deep respect for the vital role parents play in the lives of students and our university community.
