What a joyous celebration we had yesterday at the first-ever President’s Media Day! Organized by the Admissions, Marketing, and Strategic Communications Office, we were honored to welcome our amazing media partners to the University of Nueva Caceres for a day filled with gratitude and exciting tributes. We were joined by various station managers and their teams from Radio Bicolandia DZLW-AM/ DWLL-FM, Armgate/ Energy FM, OK FM/ TV Naga, Win FM, Bossing FM, MBC DZRH Naga, Idol FM, RMN DWNX, KBP Camarines Sur, City Hall Press Club/Corps, and other valuable guests.
A simple but meaningful birthday tribute was presented to our beloved university president, Dr. Fay Lea Patria M. Lauraya and the warmth in the room was truly special. We were all inspired by her leadership and dedication to UNC’s bright future. We also raised a toast in celebration of the service rendered by Sir Joel Crescini, our former Press Relations Officer, for his contributions and impacts on UNC’s media presence.
Completing the event was the sumptuous meal prepared by UNC-CBA’s Hospitality Management and Entrepreneurship students, headed by Chef Billy Genterola.
